I just may carve me one this year

It'll be interesting to see what sort of reaction it will have when I put this up on the balcony of our apartment. San Diego is (supposedly) a heavily GOP town, with larger than usual amounts of both money and career military people here (and to see both, check out the housing prices on Coronado!!).

But this cycle, I have seen a decent amount of Obama yard signs and stickers, and damned if I can recall even seeing one McCain sign at all. Even all the literature we get in the mail for GOP officials up for election conspicuously never mention, anywhere on the pieces, that they are Republican.

Even in this supposed safe town, Bush and Rove have turn the GOP toxic.
(But I would still bet on most of the republicans winning their various races anyway... sigh...)
